Congratulations to BMJRG Partner Jana Lamanna on her recent acceptance to the Academy of Adoption and Assisted Reproduction Attorneys (AAAA).
AAAA is the largest professional organization of its kind, committed to the highest standards of competency, experience, and ethics in the legal practice of adoption and assisted reproductive technologies. The organization advocates for laws and policies to protect the best interests of children, the legal status of families formed through adoption and ART, and the rights of all interested parties in these situations, such as birth parents, adoptive parents, surrogates, donors, and intended parents.
Admission to AAAA as a Fellow is a highly selective process that requires minimum five years legal practice, at least fifty adoption or ART matters, a referral from a current member, and a rigorous ethical and competency review by the Board of Trustees.
AAAA is an international organization, currently with 470 highly vetted and experienced attorneys, law professors, and judges.
