Charles S. Mitchell is an experienced trial lawyer whose practice focuses on Federal and Civil Litigation; Criminal Defense; Family Law; and white-collar matters including tax fraud, protected computer intrusions, and matters before the SEC. He has been admitted to all courts of the state of Tennessee; U.S. District Court for the Western District of Tennessee; and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He is an approved criminal defense attorney under the Federal Criminal Justice Act (CJA) and Tennessee has certified him for Death Penalty Defense Counsel.
Mr. Mitchell is a 1993 graduate of Rhodes College, with a B.A. in History. He earned his Juris Doctorate degree from The University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in 2003. His law school honors include University of Memphis Law Review membership, 2001-2003, and American Jurisprudence Awards (Contracts), 2001.
